Our Team
G. Creek is a 3rd generation, family-run, Austin-based commercial construction company. G Creek is led by brothers John Haralson and Matt Haralson. As lifelong local residents with deep roots in the community, they make sure the company maintains a good reputation for honesty and quality work.
Incorporated in 1992, we are fully insured and bonded. Our office is centrally located on South 1st Street, with a large construction and storage yard in Dripping Springs.
G. Creek is a Certified Green Builder with the Austin Energy Green Building Program, a member of RECA, BOMA,
SMPS and the ACEA.
John Haralson, President / Owner 
John Haralson has extensive experience in commercial, municipal, and higher education construction. John got his start on high-end residential projects for 7 years before entering the commercial construction field. He is known for his attention to details and finishes, while being able to work with all different types of owners and project managers.
Upon receiving his MBA, John teamed up with his brother, Matt, to start G. Creek Construction.
John is President of the company and oversees business operations, he also handles bidding and project management duties. He stays up-to-date on all of G. Creek’s projects and is available 24 hours a day to help resolve problems and keep projects on budget and on schedule.

Matt Haralson, Vice President / Owner
Matt Haralson has extensive experience in site work, concrete, utilities, commercial building, interior finishes, parks, and public work projects. After working for his father in the construction industry and graduating from Texas A&M with a Construction Management degree, Mr. Haralson gained experience as a PM in Dallas, working in the underground utilities and structural concrete industry, before moving back home to Austin.
Matt Haralson is Vice President of the company, and is in charge of estimating and field operations, but also continues to manage several projects and supervise estimating. And like John, he stays up-to-date on all of G. Creek’s projects and is available 24 hours a day to help resolve problems and keep projects on budget and on schedule.
